Today is the last day of combining beans for Leischner farms. Things went really well this year. There were a few days off because of rain, but those were timed just right since Jess ended up in the hospital overnight with pre-term labor. Matt took over on the household duties during that time until Grandma Jeanne could make it to South Dakota, and by then, it was ready to get back into the field. Jess is back at work and taking it easy and the bean crop got harvested. The boys are learning to be a little more independent to help Mom out, but as you can see from their smiles, they will still be little boys!

Hi,
I am doing the Leischner Family Tree and came across your blog. It was very interesting. My dad, Milton Leischner lived near Parkston while growing up. Would love to share information. Patti
