The boys had a great time coloring the snow blue, green, and yellow with food coloring mixed in water in old spray bottles. Cheap entertainment is sometimes the best when it comes to little kids! And this helped alleviate a little cabin fever!

Never eat yellow snow!
Parents always teach you to never eat yellow snow, except in this case when the yellow snow is made with yellow food coloring.
