The annual lighting of the corn stove reminds us that it is once again winter in South Dakota. We've only seen a few flurries in November, so we are lucky that we didn't have to start the stove until now. Harvest finished days before Thanksgiving, so we've been sitting back and enjoying the glow of the fire in the stove every evening as a family.
