"A Christmas present that breathes" is how Uncle Josh explained his gift to Elliott this year. Boris, the 8 month old lop-earred rabbit joined our family on Christmas Day thanks to Uncle Josh and Aunt Joni. (Aunt Joni was quick to add that they gave us 5 years before they gave us this kind of gift, so we need to give them 5 years also. I have a feeling Matt will hold them to that!)
Elliott states, "I asked for a cage to catch rabbits, and I got the cage, the rabbit just came with it (shrug shoulders)." He's learning quickly how to care for the rabbit. He's the one who informed us that large animals have slow heartbeats and small animals have fast heartbeats. It's amazing what kids can remember.
