With new egress windows and a new structural beam instead of a wall, the basement looks so much bigger!  In the far corner of this room will be a new bedroom.  One bedroom already exists in the southwest corner of the basement, so another one will mirror it in the southeast corner, which is the direction I am facing when I took this picture.  The large window on the left will be a part of the new living room.

This is a view of the new living room while standing in the southeast corner of the basement.  The supporting cement wall came down with a steel beam in its place.  Also, the wall that made up one wall of an office came down, doubling the size of the room.

These two pictures are of the existing shower room and the furnace room.  We are combining these two rooms to make one bathroom.
