Reconstruction

So we took all the walls down, just to put them back up..........only in different places!  And we also waterproofed the entire basement and put in a new sump pump which gives us peace of mind.

This is the new bathroom.  There will be a set of two doors on a track system that will divide the shower/toilet section of the bathroom from the double vanity.  The plan is to use two doors from Matt's great-grandparents original home on the farm by Delmont.  They come complete with cut glass doorknobs.

This is the vanity side of the bathroom.  The plumbers have been hard at work making the pipes a little more manageable.  I called the old set of pipes, "Medusala."  So what you see here is beautiful compared to what was there, and it's going to make putting up walls, mirrors, and lights much easier.

And here is the family room.  Matt has had to use a lot of patience with me as his partner, but I'm getting better measuring and cutting the studs while he nails them in.
