101 Things to Keep Kids Occupied - #17

Here's a spin on the original "Make Your Own Sidewalk Paint."  This is "Make Fizzy Sidewalk Paint."  And this version is way better than the original.  The kids had a blast with this!  And they learned a little science along with it!  Bonus for me!  To make the paint fizzy, just add baking soda to the mixture and then spray it with vinegar after you paint it on the cement.

(FYI   -- This website has some amazing kids activities.  I get a daily email from them with all kinds of activities.  Many are geared towards the toddler age, so Reid and Elliott aren't as impressed, but they still have a great time getting things set up for Isabel.)

I made it even more educational for Izzy by doing a letter recognition game.  I painted some letters on the cement, called out the letter, and then she had to make the correct letter "fizz."  Who said school has to be boring!
