For the first time, our garden has fowers growing in it. It would be more practical if some form of vegetable was in that spot, but I just tell myself (and my husband) that you NEED the flowers to attract bees and butterflies for pollination. But actually, I just love the whimsy of those flowers in the middle of the practicality.
